Emmrich is a Companion in Dragon Age: The Veilguard. Emmrich is a necromancer of Nevarra's Mount Watch, who comes complete with a skeletal assistant, Manfred. Companions assist the player by joining their party and have their own backstories and unique characteristics, such as opinions and abilities. They all have their own Classes and starting equipment.
